Class Description: Painted medieval pavilions were a common and decorative sight, featured in numerous historical paintings and illuminated manuscripts from the 13th to 15th centuries, showcasing elaborate designs, stripes, and coats of arms on colorful canvases. You too can have a decorative pavilion. Join us for a discussion where we present examples of painted pavilions from period references as well as share our experiences with painting. The class will cover process and materials used.
