The Peace
When the realm fell to civil war, the King’s Peace failed, and the chronicles say that Christ and His saints slept. On this field we keep a better peace. These are the courtesies that hold it.

Where Everything Begins
The First and Last Rule
The first and last rule of this event is simple. Respect the site, and respect the people. Every other rule on this page is only that one rule, spelled out. Use good judgment, look after your neighbors, and help keep the week free of drama and incident.
No Quarter for It
Harassment & Bullying
The SCA prohibits the harassment and bullying of all individuals and groups. Anyone who engages in it is subject to appropriate sanction.
If you are subjected to harassment, bullying, or retaliation, or if you become aware of anyone else being harassed, you do not have to handle it alone. Help is close at hand, and reaching for it is always the right call.
Civility, Owed to All
The Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to treat one another with respect and civility, and that expectation does not end at the edge of the event. It holds in every forum where matters of the SCA are discussed, online included. Free expression is valued, but it has limits where speech becomes libelous, bullying, or incitement.
No participant shall persecute another for any reason. Behavior that disrupts the peace and well-being of the Society or its branches, even where it stops short of breaking modern law, is subject to sanction, and in extreme cases to expulsion and a Revocation of Membership and Denial of Participation. Malice, by definition, takes forethought and the intent to harm. None of that belongs here.
These expectations are drawn from the SCA Code of Conduct and Sanction Guide.
What Is Not Yours
Camps & Property
Respect the site’s buildings and facilities, the event’s pavilions and resources, and the property, privacy, and well-being of every other attendee. Do not enter another camp without permission. Do not take anything that is not yours, even as a joke.
Who Decides
The Final Word
In matters of the SCA, the staff defer to the Atlantian Crown and Her Seneschal. In matters of this event, the Event Steward has the final word. And in all things, at all times, modern law governs above everything else.
You Are Not Alone
A Safe Place
A sign hangs at our gate, and it means exactly what it says: this is a safe place.
That is not only words on a sign. If you ever feel unsafe or threatened, or you simply need to step away from a situation, there is a private space set aside where you will be kept safe and protected while the Event Steward and the Seneschals are called. You do not need to explain yourself first, and you do not need to handle anything on your own. Tell any member of staff, or come straight to the gate, and we will take it from there.
If Something Goes Wrong
Speak Up
If you experience or witness harassment, bullying, or retaliation, report it. On site, the fastest help is any member of staff. You may also reach out through the channels below.
A Seneschal
Any seneschal at the event, or your home group’s seneschal.
President of the SCA
For matters that need to go above the Kingdom.
Board Ombudsman
Your Kingdom’s Board Ombudsman is always an option.
