War of the Wings Postponed to 2022
Greetings to the Kingdom of Atlantia and the Known World. I come to you today with a heavy heart to announce that the Kingdom is postponing War of the Wings until 2022. Their Majesties, Mistress Edan, and the Great Officers met two weeks ago to discuss the possible need to cancel the War. We spoke again last night and the decision was made to postpone based on information from the Yadkin County Health Department as well as counsel from across the Kingdom and the Society.
The Autocrat and the Staff have worked tirelessly to plan for the event and I wish to commend everyone involved for their labor on the Kingdom’s behalf. We will turn our eyes to 2022 and pray for the end of this plague when we shall rally upon the fields at Elchenburg Castle to answer the call to War. I want to personally thank their Majesties Eckehard and Jane, Mistress Edan, David and Suzy Stewart, and the Great Officers for their wise counsel and support.
If you want a refund and made your reservation via the SCA-rs system, please go and cancel your reservation at the SCA-rs system https://atlantia.sca.org/scars/. Corporate will assist in handling the refunds. Check reservation refunds will be made through the Kingdom Exchequer’s office. If you DO NOT want a refund and want to donate your reservation to the Kingdom, please send an email stating that to the Kingdom Exchequer (firstname.lastname@example.org) and watch for an acknowledgement.

Seneschal, Kingdom of Atlantia
NOTE: A registration is not complete until it is paid. Fees are for the entire week of the event, there is no day trip fee.
Each paid registration will receive 250 sq ft of land for camping. RVs spaces are limited. Click here for additional nearby accommodations.
During the registration process, a camper can register to camp with a specific camping group or they can register for a Single’s camping spot. During the registration process, you indicate that you are part of the Barony of ????? or Household ????? and you plan to camp with that group. Your land will be added to the total land allotment the group can claim as available camping spots.
Note: the individual camps are responsible for the specific location of your spot within their area.
The Single’s camping spots are spread out across the different camping blocks. If you choose a Single’s camping spot, there will be a map at Troll with the different areas allocated for Single’s and you can choose your camping spot from the remaining available spots. Individuals that are new to the War of the Wings will be able to locate their group’s camping group on a map at Troll.
Land agents are the designated contact for the individual camping groups. Before registration, please contact your group’s land agent to confirm that you are part of that camping group. It is the responsibility of the land agents to allocate land within the group’s camping block to the individual campers.
There are no hookups for RVs on site. In keeping with the theme of the event, modern or mundane campers will be placed in the designated RV camping area. RV spaces are limited. We also did some research and found other options for you nearby at neighboring campgrounds that have full hook-ups as well.
Vardos, wagons, medieval houses and such can be placed in the general camping areas with a paid registration and the camp’s land agent approval. If you have a question on whether your vehicle will be allowed in the general camping area, please contact the autocrat and the head of land to provide pictures and information. For additional information concerning RV camping, please see the RV Policy on the Rules and Regulations Page.
