Children and Youth

Minister of Children and Youth – Mistress Katherine la Douce

Deputy Minister of Children and Youth – Lady Grissel inghean Dhaibhidh

The SCA requires minor participants (i.e., those having to have waivers) whose parents or legal guardians are not present at the event to have a valid Minor Medical Authorization (MMA) form. The SCA recommends use of the Minor Medical Authorization for minors whose parents or legal guardians are present.

– Download the MMA FORM
– Read the FAQ about this form

As the Spartans trained their youth in the arts of the home and of combat, so too must we attend to the needs of Atlantia’s Children and Youth! Games, Classes, and Sponsored Activities will be available throughout the week! Whether it’s an Atlatl shoot, learning to fletch an arrow, practicing thrown weapons, or making boffers, our youthful warriors will learn the Art of WAR. For the domestically inclined children and youth, there will be activities such as learning felt soap making, making a fairy garden, or the art of adornment with clay beads.

Children may be signed in if they are over 11, and the youth officers are given contact information for the responsible adult. If we reach out to contact you for any issue with your child, and you do not respond in a timely manner, security and the autocrat will be contacted.
