Upon the discovery of Pompeii, and its neighbor Herculaneum, Victorian explorers were both surprised and horrified by what they found. The sexually explicit artwork they uncovered would forever change their view of Ancient Rome and eventually lead to our modern concept of pornography. Come have a look at the artwork that caused such an uproar that it was hidden away for nearly two centuries. 18+ only
